Twenty four

Untitled, 24 Hours, 29,7x21x0,8 cm, 2008.

Time constantly plays the key role in Beate Spitzlüller's artistic research. Her drawings often stem from a particular time schema, in this case a 24-hour period, spread over 24 days.

Rendering tangible and visible the direct and the immediate, these works shun the slightest trace of irrelevant flourishes.
