A selection of untitled drawings from the Day by Day series, which Spitzmüller has continuously worked on since 2006, executed between 14 and 28 April 2015, each work 29.7 x 21 cm.
In this long-term project, every morning upon waking Spitzmüller makes sketches for five-minutes. Sheet upon sheet, the accumulated bundle of sketches create a panoramic score, marking time’s course. In this grey zone between surveying, documentation and concept, Spitzmüller gradually creates her drawing series.
