Between 7 January and 4 February 2005 Beate Spitzmüller and Birgit Cauer simultaneously photographed their surroundings between 10.45 to 11.05 CET in various locations in Asia and Berlin. This stipulated time-span constituted the necessary foundation for the genesis of their own spatial system.
The research project Berlin - Asia - CET 10:45 formed part of their research series on time and space. Through these stipulations of different temporal and spatial parameters, they explored to what extent these factors influenced their drawings.
