Since 2001 Spitzmüller has created a series of large-format landscape portraits through the use of digital imaging. Fairy-tale like, this frozen landscape, solidified in its natural movement, is enveloped by a sheathes of ice. At once touching and enchanting in its beauty, this frosty splendor reveals an other gateway to the world around us.
