From November 16, 2024 to January 12, 2025, two projects dealing with the medium of drawing will be presented at Berlin's Kunstraum Kreuzberg Bethanien: ANONYME ZEICHNER*INNEN - a project for original drawings, curated by Anke Becker and LINES FICTION FILMROLLE 2024 - animated cartoons and artistic animations from around the world, curated by Bettina Munk.
SALE OF DRAWINGS: All drawings will be on sale for a symbolic sales price of 250 € each on site in the gallery. The artists receive 200 euros per work sold in return for a corresponding invoice. The remaining 50 euros will go to the project and will be used to finance the call and the exhibitions. The artists receive the contact details of the buyers and vice versa.
ONLINE-SALE: All exhibited drawings will be for sale online at www.anonyme- zeichner.de after the opening weekend in Berlin. As soon a drawing is sold online or on site, it will be removed from the exhibition wall. The empty space it left behind will be marked with the artist‘s full name and place of origin. The conditions for online sales are the same as in the exhibition.
The exhibition was preceded by an open, international call for participation. There were no requirements in terms of content or form. The only condition was that drawings should not be larger than A3. Biographical details of the participants were not requested and played no role in the anonymous selection process. The exhibited drawings were selected from over 4,400 submissions by the artist and project founder Anke Becker in collaboration with the artists Inken Reinert and Veronike Hinsberg to create a large installation.
