Wandering - a wide field
An exhibition project of the Künstlerinnennetzwerks Frauenmuseum Berlin (fmb) in cooperation with artists from Neuruppin.
Opening followed by a walking tour on 8.10.2022 at 3:00pm in Kommissionsstraße 6.
Wandering - a wide field / Wandern - ein weites Feld
For the project Wandering -a wide field - I show photographic works from the series 'The Procession - the Train'. These are photographs taken during a long walk along the Blue Nile - on paths, trodden by humans and animals, following the topography of the landscape. The work is shown in the so-called emergency flat in Wallstrasse.
The exhibition Wandern - ein weites Feld takes place at various locations in Neuruppin, both indoors and outdoors. In this way, the exhibition, like Theodor Fontane's journey through the Mark Brandenburg, leads into the unknown in the known.
Participating artists in the city tour:
Wallstraße, emergency flat: Beate Spitzmüller
Wallstraße, Prinzenpforte, city wall: Judith Brunner
Straße des Friedens 8 - 10, St. George's Chapel: Ina Geißler, Uschi Niehaus, Regina Weiss Kommissionsstraße 6: Ulrike Gerst, Beate Selzer, Marianne Stoll
Fischbänkenstraße 8, Karl Friedrich Schinkel Society: Margret Holz

Karl-Liebknecht-Str. 33/34: Bunker at the town hall, flags: Andrea Golla, Caroline Armand Präsidentenstraße 63: Beate Selzer
